What does the app do?
* The app automatically recognises when two users have been in close proximity for a certain time.
* It uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to do this. No GPS data is used.
* The app notifies you if a potential infection is suspected.
* By responding appropriately, you can protect yourself and other people.
SwissCovid, operated by the Federal Office of Public Health FOPH based on the Ordinance of 13 May 2020 on a pilot test with the ‘Swiss Proximity Tracing System’ to notify persons potentially exposed to the coronavirus (COVID-19). The use of this app is limited to Switzerland and is subject to Swiss law.
